Welcome to my website
I’ve started this blog to share my passion and concern about marine biology. My love for marine biology started when I was 11 when we went on a family trip to the Maldives. As soon as I got in the water I knew that marine biology was what I wanted to do. Although it is what I want to study, I am worried that there will be nothing left by the time I can. Thousands of sea creatures are dying each day, and most of them are not natural deaths. So I've decided to start this blog for 3 main reasons. 1) To raise awareness to the world about what is going on, because most of what happens, goes unheard of to most of the population. 2) This is a chance for people to learn in a new and interesting way, and from a point of view of a younger person. 3) I will be learning at the same time and sharing my passion with more people, this could then possibly start a team and we could work together to help the world beneath the surface.
Visitor's notice
On this website you will find a new article of something going on in the marine biology world each month. This is the main idea of the site but you can find plenty more. I have a photo gallery from my holidays showing you all the encounters I've had. All pictures are mine, however the pictures used in my acrticles are not. You will also find some main biology news as well as the marine news in the quick facts part. Do know before you read my articles that some of them are informative and some of them are my personal thoughts on a certain subject. Instead of telling you what you can find, why don't you go find out yourself. Take a look at my marine biology blog, and feel free to comment.
